Jackpot Karaoke gives every singer one entry into the jackpot draw per song that gets sung by them each night. At the end of the night all song slips are put into a bucket and a slip is drawn out. The winner* (who must be present to participate) will then draw a ball out of the bucket. One ball has jackpot on it, if you pick that ball you win the jackpot amount. If you don't you win a consolation prize. The first week of the jackpot there are 20 balls, each time a ball is drawn out the ball remains out of the draw increasing your chances of winning each week, when finally at the 20th week there is only one ball left in the bucket. So if your name is drawn out you are guaranteed to win the $1000. There is only one draw per night and the weekly jackpot amount is $50. Once the jackpot has been won, the jackpot draw starts again at $50 the following week.
